Hi, I’m Jennifer, I am a Registered Counseling Therapy with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the Yorkville University. I come with experience working in both government programs, non-profit agencies and private practice with a wide array of client concerns. I have seen first-hand how powerful it is for individuals to own who they are and what they need most, in order to forge a path in life that honors their unique strengths.
More About Jennifer:
As a dedicated therapist, I specialize in supporting teens, adults, and couples who are navigating life's challenges. My clients often struggle with feelings of uncertainty, disconnection, or discontent, struggling with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, identity, relationship issues, trauma, neurodiversity, or significant life transitions.
My approach is centered around creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted. Together, we'll work to challenge limiting beliefs, develop healthy emotional regulation, and foster a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. My goal is to empower you to tap into your inner strength, cultivate resilience, and thrive.
Informed by emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment-based therapies, my flexible approach is person centred. Meaning it is tailored to meet your unique needs. I also offer EMDR therapy to support individuals in processing and recovering from trauma or emotional distress.
I'm passionate about helping you unlock your full potential, nurture hope, and embark on a journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery. I look forward to getting to know you and working together to create a brighter, more compassionate future.
